Last week, Singapore became the center of the cybersecurity world as top experts, leading vendors, and industry leaders gathered for Black Hat Asia 2025. We were right in the heart of it all—and we’re excited to share the highlights with you!
Spring in Singapore brought not only tropical weather but also hot debates about the future of cybersecurity. At Marina Bay Sands, vendors, CISOs, and security pros discussed top threats, shared real-world use cases, and explored new solutions for the challenges ahead.
Black Hat isn’t just another tech event—it’s a hub of learning and innovation. With hundreds of workshops, hands-on sessions, and expert briefings, there’s something valuable for everyone. But the real magic? It’s the casual, open conversations. Curious about a product? Just walk up to the booth and talk directly to the developers—no suits required.
This year, we showcased StormWall’s DDoS protection services alongside our long-time regional partner, CloudHost. Our booth quickly became a go-to spot for attendees looking to boost their protection against growing cyber threats.
And interest is at an all-time high—no surprise, considering that DDoS attacks in Asia spiked 92% in 2024, according to our report. India, China, and Singapore were among the hardest hit. That’s why so many visitors were eager to learn more about our traffic filtering network, scrubbing centers, and plans for future expansion.
We also announced major expansion plans—with a new scrubbing center launching in Jakarta imminently and another one coming to India in the near future. These upgrades will significantly boost our mitigation capacity, enabling us to neutralize even more powerful attacks. Today, our global scrubbing network can filter over 5 Tbps of malicious traffic—and we’re just getting started.
