A Remarkable Experience In Dubai. Stormwall Attends GITEX Global 2023

We at StormWall enjoy attending tech events all over the world. This time we joined GITEX Global 2023 exhibition in Dubai. The event is the largest IT exhibition in the Middle East, with over 6,000 companies from 180 countries participating.

GITEX is an acronym for Gulf Information Technology Exhibition. The exhibition has been held in Dubai since 1981 and has grown from a local event to a global gathering. In 2020, GITEX was one of the few tech events that was not canceled due to the pandemic.

StormWall experts demonstrated the capabilities of modern anti-DDoS products and solutions, and also held individual consultations for anybody interested. Our unique approach to DDoS security was noted by the GITEX attendees. 10+ years in the business with focus on DDoS attacks, our own L3-L7 filtering technology effective against multi-vector attacks allow us to provide superior DDoS protection for our customers.

Middle Eastern attendees showed great interest in cybersecurity solutions. It's not surprising since DDoS attacks have increased significantly in the Middle East, with UAE companies being the prime targets. According to StormWall analysts, the number of DDoS attacks in the UAE in the 3rd quarter of 2023 increased by 78% compared to the same period last year.
