StormWall at Cyber Security World Asia 2024: Reconnecting with Old Friends

Last week, we had the pleasure of participating in Cyber Security World Asia 2024, a highlight of Singapore Tech Week and one of the premier tech events in the region.

For the second consecutive year, StormWall took part in this major event, presenting cutting-edge DDoS protection solutions to an audience eager to learn about the latest trends in cybersecurity. With DDoS attacks growing more frequent and complex, especially in Asia, we’re proud to be at the forefront of defense strategies.

Our 18-meter booth was (!) strategically positioned across from the Cyber Security World Keynote Theatre, where the event’s main speakers delivered their presentations. We were pleased to share this space with our long-term partner, LOGON Software Asia, a prominent player in the APAC region recognized for delivering top-tier cybersecurity solutions, including those powered by StormWall. Together, we aim to provide exceptional innovation and cybersecurity services to clients across the Asia-Pacific region.

Asia is a key strategic region for us. We already operate two traffic scrubbing centers here, located in Singapore and Hong Kong, and next year we’re launching another in Jakarta. With these centers, we’re able to mitigate DDoS attacks more quickly and efficiently, as their frequency and intensity continue to rise in this part of the world.

Our Senior Sales Manager, Kirill Sorokin delivered a presentation titled “Modern Solutions to Fact the Evolving DDoS Landscape”. He shared our latest statistics on cyberattacks in APAC countries and fielded questions from the audience.

It’s worth noting that interest in DDoS protection has surged even more this year compared to last. We’re witnessing a rising demand for robust solutions across Asia, and we’re proud to help companies in this region strengthen their defenses.

Over the course of the two-day conference, we engaged with over 200 representatives from various companies. While many of these interactions were with new connections, we also relished the opportunity to reconnect with familiar partners from last year.
