Last week, our team visited the UAE for a business lunch hosted by our partner, Cloud Networks Solutions. It was a great opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, forge new connections, discuss the latest DDoS attack trends in the MENA region, and introduce our new scrubbing center in Dubai.

On September 19, we attended CN Talks: Critical Cybersecurity Solutions, an event we had been eagerly anticipating. Not only were we excited to finally meet our UAE partners in person, but we were also thrilled to share the latest updates from our team.

This year, we’ve strengthened our presence in the Middle East, and it’s no coincidence. According to our Q2 2024 research, DDoS attacks in the MENA region are on the rise, with the UAE accounting for 27% of all incidents. In fact, the number of attacks in the region has increased by 211% compared to the same period in 2023. To combat this growing threat, we recently launched a local scrubbing center in Fujairah, UAE.

We ran a 30-min presentation and exchanged best practices for protecting businesses in MENA from cyber threats. We also shared details about our DDoS protection solutions for websites, networks, and TCP/UDP services, as well as our anti-bot and WAF services, which are in high demand in the region.

It was a productive day that concluded with a relaxing stroll through Dubai, wrapping up a busy yet enjoyable event. We’re already looking forward to meeting our colleagues again soon!
